Throwback Thursday: Hilary Rhoda, Esti Ginzburg, Julie Ordon and Sonia Dara go to Rajasthan, India for the 2010 SI Swimsuit Issue

ON A MUGGY, overcast day like today that tries to pass for the beginnings of summer I found myself not surprisingly drawn to the vivid images from 2010 when SI Swimsuit flew 7,300 miles to Rajasthan, India. The country's largest state, Rajasthan is located on the country's border with Pakistan, and encompasses the Great Indian Desert. There, photographer Ricardo Tinelli shot with Hilary Rhoda, Esti Ginzburg, Julie Ordon and Sonia Dara (and a few lucky animals) in the glorious dry desert heat. The models smoldered in kohl eyeliner and luxurious jewel-toned suits, and when I say luxurious I'm talking one 24k gold number valued at $1 million. You'll know it when you see it.
